Bendigo Tourism Board Inc. held their 2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 16 September at the Foundary Hotel Complex. Guest speaker Helen Hardwick, Program Manager, Tourism Policy and Strategy, City of Melbourne gave a presentation on the recent research undertaken on the “Visitor Journey” and how digital technology is expanding our ways of communication with visitors.
Approx 80 guests attended the AGM, enjoying networking with people form the Tourism Industry including; Bendigo Tourism members, City of Greater Bendigo councillors and staff, sponsors and special guests.
Six candidates nominated for the two vacant positions on the Bendigo Tourism Board for 2013/2014. The successful canditdates were Anthony Gurry and Sharon Carlson who were re-elected for an additional 2 year Term.
